What are Parasites and how to do a natural parasite cleanse?
It is estimated that more than 50 % of people in western world, have some parasitic or semi-parasitic animal living inside their body. Our bodies are a collection of cells, which work together, and are kept working in harmony by chemical signals. If an organism can manipulate those vital signals; an organism such as a parasite – then it can control us. Some of the most common parasites are:
Tapeworms:
The fish tapeworm is the largest of the human tapeworms, reaching 33 feet or more in length. There can be 3,000 to 4,000 segments in one worm. Tapeworms can produce more than 1,000,000 eggs a day. This type of infestation can cause anemia because of interference with vitamin B12, and also weight challenges can often be directly attributed to tapeworms. Some individuals who go on diets to lose weight but don’t seem to lose any weight may be hosting a tapeworm. That tapeworm is eating all the food and in turn that person is constantly hungry. Tapeworms can also cause water retention. Tapeworms can come from beef, pork and fish, there is also a type of dog tapeworm that you can get when a dogs licks your face or hands.
Pinworms:
Pinworms are the most common worm infection in the United States. School-age children, followed by preschoolers, have the highest rates of infection. In some groups nearly 50% of children are infected. This infection usually occurs in more than one family member.
“Parasites have killed more humans than all the wars in history.” reported National Geographic in its award-winning documentary, The Body Snatchers.
Pinworms are extremely infectious and can cause an itching sensation in the anal area. The pinworms deposit their eggs primarily at night. This contaminates pajamas and bed linen. The eggs are also readily transported through the air, making it not uncommon to find them in every room of the house. Pinworms have been found in the vulva, uterus and fallopian tubes.
Roundworms:
Parasitic roundworms destroy billions of dollars in crops, each year, and cause debilitating diseases in farm animals and pets. Major parasitic roundworm diseases in humans include ascariasis, which affects 1.5 billion people worldwide; hookworm, which infects 1.3 billion people; and elephantiasis, which affects 120 million people. Another type of roundworm, which can be present in humans, is whipworms. Whipworms actually inject a digestive fluid which converts the colon tissue into liquid which the worms sucks up.
Hookworms:
Hookworms bite and suck on the intestinal wall, which can cause bleeding and necrosis. In severe infections, iron deficiency becomes a problem because of all the iron that is lost to the hookworm. Hemoglobin levels as low as 15% of normal have been seen in patients with severe, long-standing hookworm disease.
Who Gets Parasites?
Visible evidence of an infection is rarely apparent. Many laboratories fail to detect the presence of parasites even when presented with specimens from infected persons. It is very easy to contract a parasite infection. Improperly washed food is a common means of infection. Antibiotics pose a risk because they interfere with normal intestinal flora, some which tend to control certain types of infection. Contaminated water is one source of infection. Contact with another infected person is also a common route of infection. Travel can escalate the risks.
It is recommended that anyone who has pets do a parasite cleanse once a year. Cats and dogs carry parasites and transmit them to their owners. People who eat sushi, or any meat products, are almost certainly infected with parasites. Eating meat is a common culprit of parasites. Especially raw meat.
